    Support for Drug and Alcohol Issues in Oxfordshire
    If you or someone you know is an Oxfordshire resident aged 18 or over and experiencing problems with drugs and/or alcohol, free advice, information, and support are available through Turning Point.
    Locality Hubs and Support:
    Turning Point operates locality hubs in Oxford, Banbury, Didcot, and Witney.
    They also support rural communities with travel to the hubs or satellite services if needed.

    Turning Point offers a comprehensive range of services, including:
    Assessment and tier 1-3 interventions
    Training and brief interventions
    Group and 1-2-1 structured interventions
    Family and parenting support
    Education, training, and employment (ETE) advice
    Recovery support
    Assessment for residential rehabilitation and detoxification placements

  • Cranstoun Here4Youth

    Cranstoun Here4Youth offers a dedicated drug and alcohol service for children and young people aged 8-25, as well as those affected by someone else’s substance use.
    Key Features of the Service:
    No Threshold for Support: Any young person who mentions drug or alcohol use, or feels impacted by someone else’s substance use, can be referred to Cranstoun. Support is also available for parents and families of children using substances.
    Flexible Appointment Options: Cranstoun provides telephone and online appointments and can meet young people at school, college, home, or any location where they feel comfortable.

    Consent Requirements: For those over 14, the young person’s consent is sufficient for referral. For those under 13, consent is needed from both the young person and their parent/carer.
    No Prior Service Requirement: The person does not need to be known to CAMHS, Social Care, or any other service, nor do they need to be referred to these services as part of their referral to Cranstoun Here4Youth..
