In addition, to practising clinical medicine I hold an Honorary Senior Lectureship at the University of Oxford teaching medical students and am an approved GP trainer supervising young doctors training to become GPs. I am also a clinical advisor to NHS England.

I worked in hospital medicine for ten years before moving to general practice, training mainly in the surgical specialties. I have an interest in men’s health, surgery and joint injections. I am the research lead for the practice and supervise newly qualified doctors working in the practice.

I have worked as a General Practitioner in Oxfordshire for several years, drawn to the specialty early in my training due to my interest in a variety of clinical areas. In addition to my work in primary care, I have enjoyed my experience in Urgent Care Centres and have found teaching medical students to be especially rewarding.
