Abdominal Aorta Aneurysm screening

An abdominal aortic aneurysm is a life-threatening swelling of the main blood vessel in your abdomen. It causes about 5000 deaths each year in the UK. It is much more common in men. Men aged 65 years are offered a one off scan to check on this blood vessel. Invitations are sent out by the national programme. If you have not received your invitation please call 01865 572636.
