We want to make it as easy as possible for you to use our services. If you have a disability or a long term condition and find some things difficult, we may be able to make reasonable adjustments to support you.
What are reasonable adjustments?
Reasonable adjustments are changes we can make so you can access your care more easily.
This might include things like:
- Giving you a longer appointment if you need more time
- Offering a quiet place to wait if the waiting room is too busy or noisy
- Making sure your appointment is in an accessible room (for example, on the ground floor)
- Providing information in large print, easy read or plain English
- Allowing a carer, family member or support worker to come in with you
- Using BSL interpreters or other communication support where needed
Everyone is different, so please tell us what would help you.
